Joyce
ZaffarUllah, MS, RN, L.Ac., is a Registered Nurse and a New York State
Licensed Acupuncturist. She is a certified Diplomate of Acupuncture, by
the NCCAOM, and a Certified Holistic Nurse (HN-BC)by the AHNCC.
Joyce is the
director of“ Healing Energy Acupuncture and Holistic Healing, a practice
which specializes in the treatment of cancer pain, women's health
issues, digestive disorders, pain management, anxiety, depression,
weight loss and. She combines her Traditional Chinese Medicine training
with her Western Medical experience to offer an integration of Eastern
and Western Philosophy. Joyce has been specializing in the treatment of
Breast Cancer survivors, using hers Holistic Nursing Education and
Principles while providing Medical Qigong and Reiki.
Joyce knows
acupuncture is a beneficial treatment for cancer pain, by minimizing the
side-effects of chemo and radiation therapy.
Joyce
received her Masters in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture at the NY
College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
She also studied abroad at the
Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and interned at Yue
Yang Hospital.
Joyce
continued her study of “Qi,” Energy Work by studying Medical Qigong from
International Institute of Medical Qigong via 3 Treasures Healing.
She
is a certified Medical Qigong Practitioner - Therapist.
Joyce
attended The Birchtree Center for Healthcare Transformation, and
graduated from Integrative Healing Arts Program in 2008. She sat for
certification in March 2010. Joyce continued her studies in
Aromatherapy from Kathy Duffy through Jane Buckle’s Clinical
Aromatherapy for Health Professionals
